Yummy Little Pockets
Our taste buds have been treated to something very special: arepas. What is an arepa? you may wonder. To put it as simply as possible, it is a corn - pitalike pocket filled with different ingredients such as avocados, fried plantains, jalapenos, or chorizo. The Caracas Bar in the East Village has many delicious varieties. Alright... we're pretty sure these aren't that healthy but they are on the smaller side so as a treat in moderation, we approve!

ReplyDeleteNote: If you live in the delivery box, make sure to place your order an hour in advance. If you are planning on eating in the restaurant (on 7th between 1st and A), be prepared for a LONG wait. The good news is that AC was recently installed.
